Who we are

We are Michael and Robin Renken. We have been working in the Entertainment Industry for the last 25 years. Along the way, we created A Warm Wish, a Gift Basket Business, which we ran from 1999 to 2008 when the GREAT recession hit.

We learned a great deal about building our business from scratch. We moved into a retail space, hired employees, downsized, moved to a larger warehouse space as we moved into the Las Vegas Convention and Conference market. We started our business online at a time when people were just beginning to do that with small businesses. We set up processes and procedures and found simplified, efficient ways of doing things. We made mistakes along the way, but we learned from them.

So 42 Aspens Productions LLC, was created to be the overall company to oversee our future endeavors.

Why 42 Aspens Productions

What's in the Name

We are Sci Fi geeks, we will admit it.

“42” is the “Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.” according to Douglas Adams’ “The Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy”.

Pair that with the amazing Aspens, trees that grow in large clonal colonies, all coming from a single seedling and having a connected root system. After a fire, the root system, which is still there sends shoots back up. Hey quickly grown, stabilizing soil and creating nurseries for other trees and plantlife to grow and thrive in.

So while we don’t have the Answer to Life the Universe and Everything, we can work together to strengthen the roots and the base and encourage growth through a cooperative effort. The idea is to develop ideas and solutions to move people and businesses forward in a more moral, economical and prosperous way for everyone, by providing a foundation.
