Years ago, Michael and I were just getting really into wine and we decided to venture to Oregon to explore wine country. On this trip, we visited Youngberg Hill. Humor me as I reminisce and share the story with you.
We found a little vacation rental in the Willamette Valley’s Dundee Hills. It was secluded with great views of the valley and stars.
A very dear old friend lived in Portland, he and his wife, whom I had not yet met, joined us for an evening at the cottage. He and his wife enjoyed wine and traveled here often to taste. One of the spots that he wanted to take us to was the beautiful Youngberg Hill property, where he and his wife had recently been married.
Recently we received samples from Youngberg Hill. The memories took me back to this earlier time when we had visited and I looked forward to opening the wines.
